Spanish Team Championships
From 23-28 August the Spanish Team Chess Championships take place in Sestao.
Ten international teams will battle over six rounds to decide the destination of the title. Many players in action are over the 2700 Elo mark, including top-ranked Alexei Shirov (pictured) and hotfoot from his success in Amsterdam, Hikaru Nakamura.
