Next State Of Chess Coming August 1: Fair Play, Website Updates, Q&A, And More
Chess.com is happy to announce that the next edition of State of Chess.com will be held on August 1 at 1 p.m. ET / 19:00 CEST / 9:30 p.m. IST. We invite you to tune in to our Twitch and YouTube channels to hear what we've been up to and where we're going.
As always, Chess.com's IM Danny Rensch will host the show. On this edition, he will be joined by Alex Leibow, VP of Media & Content; IM Kassa Korley, Director of Professional Relations; Rafal Skocelas, Technical Project Manager; and Erik Allebest, our CEO. Below are the topics they'll cover:
Fair Play
Kassa will join the show to discuss important changes to our Fair Play policy and how we handle violations. He will also talk about the future of Fair Play, including a major update on our latest effort to make prize events cleaner.
The Story Of Chess
Alex will explore our approach to covering the most compelling stories in the chess world and share exciting news about our projects coming later this year.
Product Updates
Erik will join Danny for a conversation about recent fixes to those pesky technical issues (yes, the bugs). They will also discuss how the product team is improving the Chess.com experience.
AMA With Danny
As always, we want you to participate in the conversation. We'll end the show with an AMA session with Danny, so make sure you bring your best questions!
