We're excited to announce the next installment of State of Chess, our live show where we share all the exciting things that we've been working on and what's coming next. It's also the place where you can ask questions directly to us, so we can answer you right there on the spot. We have many juicy updates to discuss: From new features to new Fair Play data, this is an episode you don't want to miss!

Tune in to our Twitch and YouTube channels on March 20 at 1 p.m. ET / 18:00 CEST / 10:30 p.m. IST to enjoy the show and participate with your questions.

As usual, our Chief Chess Officer, IM Danny Rensch, will host the show. Joining him will be our Chief Growth Officer, Albert Cheng; our Chessable and Train President, Greg Giusti; and our Director of Fair Play and Director of Professional Relations, Sean Arn and IM Kassa Korley.

Here's what you can expect to see during this Thursday's show:

Deets From Danny

Danny will give you all the details about what we've been up to here at Chess.com. From star athletes playing chess, to people buying a pair of (sweaty) jeans for exorbitant prices, Danny will tell you everything you need to know to be in the loop.

Why is there a photo of NBA superstar Victor Wembanyama included in this announcement? You'll know if you watch the show.

As always, we'll host a Q&A session with Danny where you can ask him whatever you want about chess. If you'd like to know more about our product updates, fair play, or anything else, we encourage you to send your questions in the comment section of this article!

Oh, and Danny's also announcing something pretty big, so don't miss this episode of State of Chess!

    Product Updates With Albert Cheng

We'll also dive into some of the updates to our product that we've been working on. We'll talk about improvements to our core playing experience, a massive overhaul of our Puzzles, new updates to our digital Coach, and more.

New Courses Feature For Improvers With Greg Giusti

We know that many members of our community are avid improvers who love the challenge of striving to get better at chess. In this episode of State of Chess, we'll talk a little bit about Courses, an exciting new feature for the chess grinders out there!

So yes, watching the show will help you gain Elo.

Fair Play With Sean Arn & Kassa Korley

As the great philosopher Jay-Z once said, "men lie, women lie, numbers don't." In this part of the show, we'll go over our Fair Play data and share some of our insights about chess, cheating, and what we're doing to stop it.

What type of update do you like to hear about on State of Chess? Let us know in the comments below!
