Vladimir Kramnik seems to have undergone a dramatic change in style at the Tal Memorial in Moscow!  In round four he scored another victory to take an undisputed lead going into the first and only rest day tomorrow.

Kramnik's victim was Peter Svidler, and the opening was Svidler's favourite Grunfeld, which now seems to be all the rage among the elite players.  Kramnik's response was a simple and brutal h-pawn rush which led to a deserved win.

If anyone is channeling the spirit of the great Mikhail Tal so far in this tournament, it's certainly Vladimir Kramnik.  Who would have guessed?  All the other games were drawn.

Reports suggest that Magnus Carslen is badly affected by a flu virus and he drew today with the white pieces against against Aronian.  Having said that, Kramnik is also said to be feeling poorly, but he seems to be taking it out on his opponents!
