US Champion Yuri Shulman (pictured) won the recently held Montreal International Chess Tournament by a clear point from a strong field that included his compatriots Hikaru Nakamura and Varuzhan Akobian.

All three players together with Gata Kamsky and Alexander Onischuk will form the US men's team for the forthcoming Chess Olympiad in Dresden in November.
