Update: Rusudan Goletiani defeats Battseteg Tsagaan with black. Exciting game.
Update: Crowd favorite Anna Zatonskih defeats Iryna Zenyuk with the black peices. Interesting game with some questionable moves by both sides.
Update: Result 2! Camila Baginskaite defeates Tatev Abrahamyan with white.
Result in - 1st Result of the Championship, tournament favorite Irina Krush plays to a draw despite the 30 move draw rule is passed. I just spoke with Irina and Alisa and both seemed subdued after the result was recorded.
Quick, silly video I made prior to Round 1 starting as the players were gathering to start. Check out the players room and the club decorations. The CCSCSL is gorgeous as ever.
Updates:
WGM Shahade is commenting on Krush's lucky drawing of the extra white game in the opening ceremony. Krush and Zatonskih are the favorites for the tournament and Shahade is saying this is moving Krush ahead in the favorite catagory.
Updates:
Big games, all eyes on them, Zatonskih vs. Zenyuk

The opening invents were crazy good, featuring a 5 person blind simul by Anna Zantonskih and the remaining tournament field participated in a bounty blitz tournament at the Contemporary Art Museum Saint Louis.
I'll be posting photos and updates and videos and stuff the duration of the tournament.
