U.S. Women's Championship Round 7 - Results/Video/Photo Updates
With only 3 rounds left to play, Round 7 begins today at the Saint Louis Chess Club and Scholastic Center. With only 2 players undefeated, Zatonskih and Baginskatie, there are possibilities of an upset today, but most commentators are leaning to a repeat by returning champion Anna Zatonskih. I was up in the player room before the start, Alisa Melekhina and Sabina Foisor were both late to the start of the games but showed up shortly after the opening bell rang.
