US Women's Chess Championship 2007

The US Women’s Championship 2007 will be starting soon in Oklahoma.  It runs from July 16-20 and is a 10-player round-robin.  Anna Zatonskih is the defending champion and Irina Krush (pictured) is the top seed with a rating of 2479 Elo.

The time control will be Game in 120 minutes, with a 30 second increment per move (from the start).

The winner will take away the $7,000 first prize out of a total prize fund of $25,000.
