Vassily Ivanchuk Wins Match With Peter Leko

Between the 4th and 6th of January, Vassily Ivanchuk and Peter Leko played a rapid match of 6 games in Mukachevo, Ukraine.  The time control was 25 minutes plus a 5 second increment per move.

Ivanchuk played the more dynamic chess throughout, but only managed to finally break down Leko's stubborn resistance in game 5 after strong opening novelty and a long endgame struggle.
