Wang Hao Leads Biel After 4th Round
The 2012 Biel GM Tournament is certainly proving to be incident packed! In round four Wang Hao defeated Anish Giri to take over as leader with an impressive 3 wins so far.
The other decisive game of the day came from Hikaru Nakamura who won a real see-saw encounter with Alexander Morozevich's replacement, Victor Bologan.
Magnus Carlsen tried hard to earn a victory against Etienne Bacrot with the black pieces, but the Frenchman held on for a draw.

The festival also includes many other events including a Master Tournament, Main Tournament, Rapid Tournament and a Blitz Tournament.
The Biel Chess Festival runs from 21 July - 3 August. The main GM tournament started on Monday 23 July and there is one rest day on Sunday 29 July, with the final round on 2 August. Magnus Carlsen is defending the title he won in 2011.
