Almira Skripchenko is a Moldovan-French international master. She won the World U-16 Girls Championship in 1992 and the European Women's Individual Championship in 2001. In 2002, Skripchenko moved to France and won the national women's championship six times: in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2012, and 2015.
