Ana Matnadze is a Georgian-born Spanish international master and former two-time world youth champion. Those World Youth Chess Championships came in the Girls U10 (1993) and U14 (1997) categories, and she has nine additional youth championships between Georgian and European events.

As an adult, Matnadze jointly won the 2002 Georgian Women’s Chess Championship and took the European Women’s Blitz Chess Championship the same year. She won the Women’s Catalan Championship in 2006 and was the women’s champion of the Catalan Chess Circuit from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, Matnadze changed federations to Spain and has been an active member of their national team.
