Gregory Shahade, better known as Greg Shahade, is an American international master. He was the founder and commissioner of the U.S. Chess League, which later moved to Chess.com and became the PRO Chess League. He is also the founder and president of the non-profit U.S. Chess School. He reached his peak FIDE rating of 2476 in December 2012 and peak USCF rating of 2554 in 2002.

As a scholastic player, Shahade had impressive results. He shared first place in the 1993 National Junior High School Championship. Three years later, he tied for first again in the National High School Championship and won the United States Junior Open. Shahade's impressive results earned him two Samford Fellowships.
