Bio
Huang Qian is a Chinese woman grandmaster and the 2012 national champion. The following year, she won the Asian Women’s Chess Championship. As part of team China, she won gold at the 2004 Women’s Chess Olympiad and the 2007 Women’s World Team Chess Championship (going 4/4 on the reserve board). Huang has competed in several Women’s World Chess Championships, notably making it to the fourth round in the 2012 event.
