LADDER RULE CHANGE Effective next Sunday, July 24, we are planning to update the Ladder Rules with the following rule: "Once a game result has been posted in the Ladder standings, the loser of the game must wait 24 hours before issuing a new challenge." A key component of ensuring the ladder stays competitive and fun for all is to make sure that everyone has a fair opportunity to climb the ladder. Important Information... I will be performing a Ladder cleanup in the next 48 hours... players who have been inactive for more than 50 days (or have not been on chess.com for more then 30 days) will be removed from their position and placed in an unseen, reserve area at the bottom of the ladder. They can rejoin the ladder starting from last position if they indicate their interest in participating again. If you are one of these people and wish to remain on the ladder please let me know ASAP. ...
