This is a chess knockout tournament. 100 players will enter and only 1 will come out! This is the first tournament i have created, so good luck everybody!

After some thought i have decided to change my mind. it doesnt matter about rating anymore i am not going to disqualify ANYONE from the tournament. some players here raise good points. if i have sent you a private messege about your rating being high and you will be removed, I have changed my mind!!!! You will not be disqualified because of your rating!!!! i am sorry if i have caused any hassle :(
Anyway here are the rules reposted:
Knockout
As you might be aware, everybody will be placed in a group against one other chessplayer. It will be a best of 2 games. In case of a tie (ex. you win the first game, but lose the second), both players shall go to the next round. Eventually, the tournament will be narrowed down to the last 2 players, that shall fight to be champion... (Just to clarify, NO types of chess engines are allowed).
Rating
This is a U1700 tournament. However, i will not disqualify chessplayers come only a few points off.

Timeout
Of course, there will be timeouts in this tournament. This is perfectly understanable. If you win both of your games due to timeout, you have been lucky!!! However, if you and your opponent don't turn up and you both timeout your games, I will disqualify you because it is unfair that other players have had to go through 2 tough games while both of you have simply timeout each other's games!!!
2 players both from group 24 have been disqualified from this tournament for timing out each other's games. thank you to the players that have brought this to my attention. i hope everybody is enjoying the tournament!!!!
As some of you are aware, the player in group 1 is the only person in his group :) just incase anybody is wondering what will happen, this player will go to the next round by default.
I will now review the players that have a very extreme rating.

First of all, i would like to say thank you to everyone that has registered for this tournament. We are now 1 more player away from creating a very interesting tournament. I would like to point out a few things before the tournament starts:
