Central Sports Club Assam is an Sports Startup started in the month of October 2019. The club is credited of holding mega chess event along with creating history itself in the inception year of first Raid rating itself in the entire northeast with a prize fund of 1lakh 11 thousand 1hundred 11 Rupess.Besides the club also has been tie up with few institutes to provide quality chess coaching to the budding talents of the region. The club has at present three 3 chess learning centers in Guwahati besides running chess programs in 4 major schools of the city. Central Sports Club has a vision of making every child of the region play chess and make chess a part of school curriculum.
