Brooklyn Tea Lounge Chess Team

The group started in 2005 (if I'm not mistaken) as a weekly blitz meetup group and still continues to meet for blitz games in the Tea Lounge every Friday night  at 7pm. As the membership and involvement grew, we came up with an idea of putting together a team to compete in the slow chess league, and in our initial season we took the second place in our division in the Commercial Chess League in Manhattan.
