Format
Round-robin
- Six players contest a double round-robin
- Time control: 120 minutes for the entire game, with a 10-second increment per move starting on move 41
- If the classical game ends in a draw, players contest an armageddon game
- Players earn different amounts of points depending on their results (see point system below)
- Check the event's official regulations for details about tiebreaks
Armageddon
- If a classical game ends in a tie, an armageddon game decides the winner
- The player who had White in the classical game also plays White in the armageddon game
- Time control: White has 10 minutes, Black has 7 minutes
- Black has draw odds
