Error in Thinking

It has been told to me that paying members cannot lose on time because the computer automatically puts them on vacation if they are about to lose on time. This seems like cheating to me.

Dmateking, I strongly agree it is NOT fair, however, I don't believe 'cheating' is the proper word.

Chess.com has decided to give special advantages to paying members. Not a very fair way to hold a competition. Frown. Bad dog !

"Auto-timeout protection" is a feature of premium accounts on the site, which will automatically put the account in vacation mode when one of the turn-based games runs severly low on time (according to my understanding, a matter of half an hour or so).

How is this cheating? Every player has vacation time at their disposal; premium members just have the option of configuring their accounts to trigger it automatically if needed.
