Eurotrip, Part One

Last Fall I took a trip to Europe for a variety of odd reasons.  While there I played in three English chess tournaments: one in High Wycombe (about 30 miles northwest of London), another in Guernsey (an Island in the English Channel), and finally a relatively large one (9 rounds!) near the London/Gatwick Airport.  This was, in retrospect, an awful lot of chess for one month, especially considering that I average about one halfway sizeable (more than four rounds) tournament in America every four years or so.

Anyhow, below are links to all five annotated games of mine from the tournament in High Wycombe. I managed to go 4-1 (good for third place) and the games themselves were halfway decent/interesting, though my horrific blunder vs. GM Wells reminds me how bad at chess I can be when I really set my mind to it.

EDIT: Oops, the links below are now broken.  I'll try and fix them in a bit.  Sorry.

EDIT EDIT: Links work again!

Round One (Bennett - Chernoff)

Round Two (Chernoff - Grattage)

Round Three (GM Wells - Chernoff)

Round Four (Chernoff - Hegarty)

Round Five (Merry - Chernoff)
