I liked both puzzles here - but probably because I was able to solve them! The motif is a useful one to know even though I doubt if it comes up very often OTB (and of course there's never anyone around to tell me I have a forced win or mate!)

Good one, I wish the daily puzzle had more like this and less like the many chump-change puzzles that seem to be the norm.

xstagex: nice one, you could just start the problem at move 4 so the idea would be more clear to the solver.

Interesting, the way black gets boxed in by his own pieces. I am coining a new term to describe the predicament black gets into in this problem: "enboxification".

VERY nice!  ...except that rook sac was too much for me and I had to hit the solution button to enjoy the full show.

I wonder if anyone would see this variation in real game and play it...
