Winning When a Piece Down
Having being inspired by Natalia Pogoninas article about winning from a piece down (http://www.chess.com/article/view/winning-when-a-piece-down), which I found extremely instructive and helpful to Grandmasters like myself, I decided to write a better one.
Yesterday, when I was in Russia, I had the opportunity to watch the final of the Russian Tournaments - world champion Barry Kasparov vs number two Mr Blobby. Both of these players played a remarkable game, having put in hours of practice and learning all the book moves. Well here's the game:
