GM blunder

I was looking through some games played in early 1990-s and found two very similar blunders in two different games played by strong GM's on high level, both based on overestimating knight threat (queen attack and check respectively) and missing opponent's queen zwischenzug.

Game 1: Nikolic - Timoshenko, GMA-qual 1990.

Game 2: Anand - Beliavsky, Linares 1991.

This example shows us once again how much focus chess requires and how much pain it can sometimes bring.
