The Sharks are 3-0 and have luck on their side!

The Sharks came from behind to snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat. John Salisbury and Vlad Yanovsky looked forward to this match all season due to a friend of ours, Mike Zaloznyy playing 4th board for LA.

Anyone who knows Mike, knows that he is a very hard working and talented player that recently made master. If you follow him on facebook then you also know he is super emotional person and a ticking time bomb on the chess board or poker table. Vlad wanted a chance to play him to just enjoy reading the outlandish Facebook post that would follow but the Sharks decided to play a super solid NM Gaston Andretta to counter his emotional play. Sure enough, Mike bluddered and the rant was epic. The game was possibly the luckest game in franchise history.
