KLA Chess club is a part of Keiller Leadership Academy, a title I, K-8 Charter School located in southeast San Diego. Chess is offered as both an after school club and everyday in school class.

This has been a work in progress, but we are finally starting to analyze and annotate our own games. The goal of this activity is twofold:

a)To help students to analyze their own games and learn from what they did well and what they need to improve on

b) To incorporate writing with chess to develop students writing skills.
