Cleveland Open Round 3
For round 3, the time control increased to 40/110, SD30, with a 10 second delay. A lot of the players seemed to be unused to this speed, and we had to get up and move around a lot. However, I settled down, used my time well, and I thought this game turned out well.
My opponent had some attacking possibilities, but he squandered them by exchanging his pieces too easily.
This win took me to 2.5/3, and put me within striking distance of the leaders.
