Hi guys!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and right now I would like to wish you all the best for the new year 2015!

Last month has been pretty hectic with a lot of trainings through the week and league matches in the weekends. But the good news is that I managed to survive, only struggling with an unpleasant flu at the moment of writing this letter, but so be it.

From 5-7 dec I playd three Bundesliga matches in Essen (my hometeam Katernberg). I made 1.5 out of 3 vs 2 GMs (Berg & Ftacnik) and one FM (Becker) which was about to be expected according to the rating. My team is still in danger of relegation, but with the great team athmosphere we should still have chances of staying in the league.

The next week I won my game in the Dutch league against young talent Tycho Dijkhuis (2330) thanks to a nice tactic in time trouble.

In the end my team BSG manage to escape narrowly with a 5.5/4.5 victory and thus we are sharing second place in the Dutch league halfway the season!

I haven´t planned any tournaments yet for 2015, but I´m surely still intending to reach the 2500 mark as soon as I can. If you do have any good offer or suggestion please let me know and I will consider it.

In January my usual trainings and Tata Steel Tournament have been scheduled so looking forward to that, until then I´m enjoying the holiday break.

The training offer mentioned in the previous post is well received and I got a couple of new students, so thanks to all of them! If you are interested don´t wait any longer, as the offer is valid until the 31st of December...

Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
