Just a Thought # 1001

In 1 on 1 tournaments like "Original Chess 7" -- on top of a "no vacation" deal,   why can't we have a format of a 1 game per pair with a winner moving on and if it's a draw -- letting them play another one with colors switched. If that's a draw too -- only then  let them both move on. I think this will make the competition more crisp and fair.
