I wonder how many non-titled players would've seen this combination. My best one ever.

Hello,
Well possibly you're right and yes it ( Nxd5) was a nice idea anyway in the end of the day it doesn't really matter you won that's all that counts...
Could i challenge you maybe ?
If yes don't expect to play with a GM i'm just an average player who loves chess win or lose i don't really care but yes of course i prefer to win...
Since a couple of months now i play on this site and it's good fun as long as you play with friendly people, and i guess that slowly i'm improving my game.
By the way before i read your profile and i guess that we've got similar experiences with rude people.
Usually i just ignore them but of course sometimes when it really gets out of hand you need to stand up for yourself !
Cheers,
Sjaky.

Well I guess so... Then again, the Nxd5 trick is pretty subtle and he may have been disillusioned by his material advantages, or made the false assumption that I had to recapture on h7.
Nice game but your opponent wasn't really awake i guess...
I hope my comment doesn't insult you since you seem to be a very sensitive person..
Actually, I calculated 26...Rd4, and it still wins for me: 27.Qxd4! Nxd4 28.Rxd4, and the threatened discovered attacks by the knight do Black in. The computer line 27.Qxh7! is better relative to my line, but the computer still thinks White is better by 3.83 pawns. Its line is 27.Qxh7 Rxd7 28.Rxd7+ Kxd7 29.Qxg7+ Kc8 30.Qg4 where my passed h-pawn wins the game.

Nh7! nice move, not easy to spot
see 26...Rd4! (27. Qxh7 Rxd7 28. Rxd7 Kxd7 29. Qxh7+ Kc8) seems alittle bit better for black
