Western Kentucky Open Game 1
So after six or so years of absence, I finally played in an OTB tourney. The Western Kentucky Open was a small (roughly 30 people) compared to the large scholastic tournies I was used to. For awhile, I really felt like a fish out of water, but I slowly settled back into pace of OTB. Anyway, here's the first game I played of the tourney:
Not too terribly proud of this game, but I was happy with the fact that I remembered the key moves of the Sicilian and that I was giving a 1600 player a run for his money for a time. I'll be posting the second game of the tourney here soon, which had a more pleasant result. Please, if you have any comments or critisms, post them.
