Ivanchuk stopped Carlsen, but the latter didn't really mind. Confidently leading he had extra rest before the rest day.

Impressive prep (though of different kind) by Giri against Saric and van Wely against Hou Yifan.

Theoretical draw in Ding-So, but a very important one!
