My Coaching Game #1

Due to persistent requests from many of my friends here....I've finally decided to help a few of the weaker players here who sincerely want to improve their game. My opponent was Balu who was trying to experiment with the opening and got himself in deep trouble early in the game.

Here is the complete game.....

Black wasted a lot of time in the opening moving the bishop to and fro for about 4 moves...till that time i was patiently developing my pieces with aa attack which correctly exploited all the king-side weaknesses of black and gave me a comfortable end game with crushing advantage....

Please leave your feedback....

Yeah...i thought abt it too.....but thought simplification is much easier than planning more combinatorial tactics....

a very nice instructive game u r a very good coach ur game was pretty good but ur decision of exchanging the queens was wrong although it was a practical decision to exchange pieces when u r up in material but ur queen was dominating the board and plus u r exploiting the unprotected king but anyways truly u have a good sense of knowledge about chess.

Nh6 was a very bad move in this position.....this move works when black prepares fr a king side attack by controlling the key square f5...but in this position, black has to play defensively and tension is centered aroud f6 square.....so black had to get rid of his dark bishop and place his knight in e7 square. This way the knight wud control g6 fr defensive purpose. I hope this answers ur doubt.

rook to c1 would have removed the need for an end game
