Energetic Positional Strangling

This is an example of tenacity of plans in a game of chess, that is, holding on to the previous plans no matter what the consequences, avoiding variations that could have won some materials in exchange of a clear-cut plan of using pawns as battering rams to the enemy King's position.

The pawn storm which was started by the c4 thrust must continue at all costs, ignoring the win of a pawn at f4.
