Just the Stonewall

Just a quick post to say how much I love the Stonewall.  I was almost always a Slav / semi-Slav player when faced with d4 but I have now changed to the Dutch / Stonewall Dutch after watching GM Eugene Perelshteyn's recent series of videos on it.

Not a brilliant series of moves as white, sure, but one thing I've discovered about playing the Stonewall Dutch as a defence to d4 is that it's not what a lot of Queen's Gambit players are expecting and so perhaps it's unsetting because of that.

OK so the real reason I'm not posting about Ubuntu or other technologies and chess today isn't because of the stonewall, it's because I'm busily downloading Ubuntu release 12.04 which was released a few days ago.  I'll post some more about that shortly.
