Furry vs Klingon @ ConCarolinas 2012

Hi...this is my 1st blog post to the site.  I am, of course, an avid chess player, but one of my other hobbies includes costuming, more specificly, fursuiting.  I frequent some of the local conventions and one that I'm a regular at is ConCarolinas.  A sci-fi/gaming con in Charlotte, NC.  Last year, my character, D.L. Leonine (Leo for short), was recruited by the KAG (Klingon Assault Group).  One of it's memebers (Mort'xx) is also an avid chess player.  We found out there was a large chess set in the mall just outside the convention hotel and agreed to meet there and battle at some point during the con.

While the photo op was the main reason for us doing this, we are both decently ranked players and the game was, especially under the circumstances, a good representation of club level skill and worthy of analysis.  Here is that game...
