No rules

According to chess.com rules I can pause my game for 1 month. I follow the rules but when I return from my journey I check I lose 6 games. Just because of 'TIME OUT'. I was not online last few days. And I lose my pause game. HOW IT POSSIBLE? Reply please. Thankyou.
