Getting steamrolled by an f4 attack

This game taught me a few things. First, how creating weak squares with early pawn pushes can come back to haunt you. Second, that when things are getting very bad, perhaps a piece sacrifice is the best way out. I was clearly lost from quite early on, but a bit of dogged defence got me through a spell of immediate pressure. But white knew just when to trade down to a definitively won endgame.
I've included quite a lot of variations, particularly in the middle game which was very sharp. Hope they don't get in the way, but wanted to get across how close I was to dying throughout, and my vain attempts to relieve the pressure.
