The Remainder Of The Tournament
Over the last two nights I have played a mini-tournament. Basically I took my set in front of the computer and played four games as similar to an actual tournament as possible. Although my opponents did not know this, I was playing it like it was a tournament. I already covered my second round game (http://www.chess.com/blog/mattch00/an-interseting-endgame). In this post I'll show my other three games.
Round 1
Round 1 was the closest I came to losing.
Round 3
After black's 13th move in round 3 he was essentially dead.
Round 4
My last round game had the highest-rated opponent of all of them.
Overall, my play was rather lackluster until my opponents made blunders. But winning four games in a total of 143 moves isn't too bad.
My first post had quite a few views and a non chess-playing friend told me that the best bloggers post as often as possible, so I will continue to post when possible. As the Mythbusters say,"If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing."
Happy Chess
