This is why I try not to resign...
Sometimes I am losing... sometimes I know the end is coming soon but I will not resign even when I am bullied for it. Why? It can happen something like this:
There are a couple of reasons why I try not to resign:
- Maybe it is a way of grasping my mistake by enduring the pain of the loss
- Maybe my opponent deserves the flavor of a checkmate
- I can learn how others end the game
- Sometimes I end up winning the game with fewer pieces
- Their clocks might run out of time
- Their ISPs might fail and disconnect them
- Sometimes they get greedy or they blunder into letting me without moves. Giving me +0.5 pts
