Game Analysis (960) - 28 Dec 2011

This was my last game of 2011, and it was, unfortunately, a loss.

 

In sum, once the chips are down, if I'm panicking, I make all sorts of silly moves. I had no clue how to rescue the position (especially when it was still very rescuable). Before I lost that rook, I still had a decent chance of pulling something out. Instead, I reacted instictually instead of logically, and got taken to the bank. So the number one thing to take away from this for me is patience when on the losing side of an endgame.
