This was followed by a barrage of backhanded compliments from my opponent along the lines of "I can't believe I was stupid enough to lose that!" I like the KID because it's better than it looks, especially after opening the kingside, which is good for creating complacency in your opponent. I haven't run the game through a computer yet, but I suspect it would rate me at a disadvantage for most of the game - but psychologically, after saccing the exchange, I think I had the edge over my fellow human.
