Chess Art: Solid Steel Sculpted Chess Pieces

Sometimes chess pieces double as art, they really do. This is especially true in the case of the sculpted steel chess pieces and chess tables made by Denver Chess Club  chess player, artist and welder JC MacNeil. JC has been a local fixture here in Denver for many years, most of us who play here know him and have played him. And many of us admire his gorgeous chess tables. He only made one set of chess pieces, but I hope someday he makes another one, as they are truly beautiful.
