The 10th Edmonton International Chess Festval was a bit overlooked because of Norway Chess/Capablanca Memorial/Dortmund Sparkassen, but here's a little bit of what happened:

Tournamen winner Pentala Harikrishna earned 7.5/9 after narrowly escaping with a draw with 2nd place finisher Wang Hao (6.5/9). Also finishing with 6.5/9 were Surya Shekhar Ganguly and Vassily Ivanchuk. With 6/9 and in 5th place out of 10 was Sam Shankland, and with 4/9. 3/9, 2/9, 2/9, and 1/9 respectively were Hambleton, Pechenkin, Matras-Clement, Harssel, and Gardner (the four Canadians and the Polish WIM).

My favourite game was probably this one:

Again, I probably had better choices, but I picked this in 2 minutes (for example, this game contains a lot of chasing-each-other's-pieces-around-and-declining-trade-offers).

Anyways, it was an interesting little tournament, and even though I'd never heard of some of the players before, it was fun to watch.
