Fund raising for Leucan
Dear friends,
The Leucan Shaved Head Challenge celebrates its tenth edition this year. I am proud to join Leucan for the third year in this challenge. Please, I need your generosity to help Leucan in pursuing their mission.
Leucan has been at the service of children with cancer and their families for over 30 years. Leucan is there from the day the diagnosis falls through all the stages of illness. As well as allocating considerable amounts to clinical research every year, Leucan offers to the child as well as family members, financial and emotional support, at the hospital, at home or at school.
As most of you dont know it, my son got struck by acute lymphoblastic leukemia in june 2007 at the age of 2 years old. After 2 years of treatments, he finally overcame the first battle. We are now in the waiting phase where we hope that my son wont have a relapse. We had so much support from our family, friends and our community that we try as much as possible to give back to the community that gave us so much. Taking part in the Shaved Head Challenge is one of those opportunities. Leucan has been very helpful during all the phases of my son's cancer. Helping Leucan means helping families of kids with cancer. Thank you for your support.
