John Purdy Memorial - Round 1

My second FIDE rated game ever is in the Scandinavian Defence, my opponent is rated 1752.

I'm a 39 year old chess fanatic who's been playing for a little over three and a half years. My goal is to become a Candidate Master before the age of 45.

In this game I notice a potential queen trap but it means putting my knight into an uncomfortable pin and praying he would fall into it. Is this what Silman refers to as 'Hope Chess'?
