Chess.com tips are paying off!

I have asked for advice, and read a lot here on this site.  I have learned so uch from all of you. 

WGM Natalia Pogonina says Tactics Tactics Tactics!  This is so true! total magic!

another person recently said..even though you may be behind, do not just resign, play to the end.  This has paid off for me.

Dont worry about memorizing openings...just play smart, stick to the basics:

I have done this, and found that I was playing book moves on openings I have never before encountered.

Silman and the imbalances...look for imbalances, and take advantage of them, or correct them as needed.

This too has worked... 

Practice Practice Practice.

That works too! I just need more time.   I wonder if my boss at work would let me do chess 80% of the day lol...  I miss the holidays as I was studying for almost 8 hours a day.  Now that I am back at work, I am limited to what I can do in a day.
