Thai Chess

I just read about Makruk, or Thai Chess, on Wikipedia last week. I tried playing one game with family members, and it was really fun. Since the queen and bishops are less mobile the board felt larger. It took me back to the experience of learning Chess as a child, when the board felt vast and the moves so endless with possibility that the game seemed to offer a new world for exploration.

I'd like to see Thai Chess added to chess.com. It wouldn't be difficult to code up the slightly different rules (although the "counting rules" would be new). According to Wikipedia, there are two million Thais who play the game. That's a lot of potential new members!

So please join me in encouraging the management to add Thai Chess to chess.com!
