I bought one of these and I really like it. You can buy two of these for the price of one Chronos.

Does it have all the settings you need? Can you set increments/ delays? How about different settings like 40 in 120, and then rest of all moves in 60?

I found the manual here:

http://www.google.com/search?q=zmf+II+manual&hl=en&gbv=2&gs_l=heirloom-hp.12...11011.11011.0.11535.1.1.0.0.0.0.94.94.1.1.0...0.0...1ac.1.2sUmw_p4wv0&oq=zmf+II+manual

The clock runs on 4 C batteries boasting a 1600 hour total of battery life.

Uses Fischer and Bronstein delay and increments are changable

Three time controls can be set per game

There is a move counter and it is displayed for 5 seconds after every move. While this is good I don't know how this might affect time scrambles.

Features hourglass, byo-yomi, dual counter timing modes and a score keeper

Sound can be turned off

Options are set by holding and pressing buttons in some order similarly to how a chronos works.

Unfortunately I still don't know anything about it's durability or how well everything works.

Thanks for the review! Do you have any issues with the clock or notice any outstanding things about it?

A friend of mine just got one of these clocks this week and he is really happy about it. He is been using this clock more often than his Chronos.

I just bought one of these clocks myself and, so far, I really like it.  I have had it about a week and have used it pretty regularly.  I like that it saves the last few settings so I have my favorites all ready to go.  It feels a little cheaper than the Cronos but at half the price I am totally okay with that.  Once I figured it out it is pretty easy to program on the fly.

I have enough chess clocks already (5 + 4 phone apps), but I'm realy tempted to get one of these.  I really like the look of the old school LED's.

They remind me of the old CB radio days.  Makes me want to plug a Mic in to the side and K-40 antenna in the back.  Then mash the PTT and say: " Breaker Breaker One - Nine, You hands got a copy on BigLew?  Y'all speed demons, better slow your roll, 'cause there's a  Kojak with a Kodak at mile marker 82!  An' Dat's the third bear I've seen since crossin' the state line, two full-growns and a county mounty! 10-4!"

I just wish they came in chrome!  Then I'd  buy one, heck, I'd jump on it like a chicken on a june bug.
