Defending Against The Queenside Pawn Storm As Black In The Najdorf

Hello everyone. Does anyone know how black should effectively defend against white's kingside pawn storms in the najdorf? (I will post a diagram soon).

Not sure what you are asking.  In the Najdorf, Black is the one launching the queenside pawn storm, not White.  White's pawn storm is on the e and f files and sometimes on the g and h as well.

If White is getting queenside play, then Black probably messed up somewhere.  Black should therefore launch an earlier queenside advance with ...b5 (...a6 is already played as part of the Najdorf move order).

Yes, I made an error. How does Black defend against White's kingside pawn storms?

6 f3 is a very unusual move.  It resembles a Yugoslav Attack against the Sicilian Dragon.  The most common response is ...e5, which gives you more control over the light Kingside squares and chases the White Knight.  (I like ...e5)  ...e6 is OK too.  The answer to the line 6...e6 7 g4 is 7...h6, halting the kingside pawn storm in its tracks.  For instance, if 8 g5, then simply 8...hxg5.

For an example of how the game might continue, see Tseshkovsky-Kalegin (Kazan 2006) here http://chesstempo.com/gamedb/game/1546492.

Hope that helps.

Well, I don't play najdorf but i play classical dragon. And in dragon you can't really effectively protect against white's pawn storm. What i do is i just try to get out the attack first.
